2000 BMW Z3 M Coupe with a Vorshlag LS2 Conversion. I purchased this car in October 2014 from the original builder who spent hundreds of hours and upwards of 80K on the build. Unfortunately, a new business venture prevented me from having the time to use the car. I've only been able to take it to the track 3 times total, and not at all in the last year, so it's time to sell.
The build was track focused and includes a carbon fiber hood, roof and bumper/splitter made by Trinity Motorsports / Sean Bayliff. The cage and safety prep were done by Deman Motorsports. The LS2 motor and T56 transmission had 30,000 miles on them. The conversion was done with the best of parts through Vorshlag in Dallas, TX. After two tests at the track I had the transmission completely rebuilt (2K+), changed the springs on all corners, added tow hooks, a seat back brace, and a set of new Nitto Nt01 tires.
The car was tuned by Chuck Cow of Corvette of Westchester and puts down 425 RWHP / 440 TQ at sea level with cam, headers, hi flo ceramic cats and custom exhaust installed by Rogue Engineering. Every window is custom molded lexan except for the windscreen. Brakes are from C6 Grand Sport with 2 piece rotors. Suspension has custom valved koni shocks. Front control arms are from SLR. All bushings have been replaced with either heim joints or 75d hard poly. The rear wing is a Brooks Elite. Car weighs @2700lbs, has tons of grip and aero, and is a real head-turner.
