For Sale: 2000 M Coupe TiAg

The search for this M Coupe was exhaustive, but what a fun journey! Recently acquired, and all ~1000mi have been enjoyed with a perma-grin!

Only reason I’m putting this up for sale is to acquire funds to purchase another M Coupe that’s been modified already, along the same direction I planned to take this M Coupe. Alas, my car is an example of a well-maintained, lower miles M Coupe in close to stock configuration, and don’t want to start modifying it heavily. Thus, if my ’00 TiAg sells, great! If not, I’ll drive and enjoy it as is, till it times to start modifying it.

• Clean/clear title and Carfax.
• I am the 6th owner (1st sold in 2016 @ ~53k, 2nd sold in 2019 @ ~55k, 3rd sold in 2021 @ ~56,500, 4th sold in 2022 @ ~57k, 5th sold in 2024 @ ~66,500).
• Two (2) set of keys included.
• Limited documentation but including all that was provided (I have not had to do any yet).

Recent Carfax service history:

• March 2024 (65,582 miles): Maintenance inspection performed.
• February 2023 (58,582 miles): Maintenance inspection completed, engine oil and filter changed.
• January 2022 (56,601 miles): Maintenance inspection completed.
• November 2021 (56,463 miles): Maintenance inspection completed; computer checked.
• July 2021: Pre-delivery inspection completed, engine oil and filter changed.

Other recent service done by previous owner:

• Oil change in preparation of sale to me (May 2024).
• Stewart high-performance metal impeller water pump and coolant flushed (2023).
• New battery (May 2024).
• BFGoorich g-Force Comp-2A/S tires.

Modifications/updates (reversible):

• Kenwood head unit with BT (original included).
• Halo headlights (originals included).
• LeatherZ sunroof shade (removeable).
• H&R adjustable front sway bar (original included).
• H&R adjustable rear sway bar (not installed and included).
• GC camber plates (not installed and included).
• Bilstein shocks/struts with stock springs (by 4thowner?).
• Cargo area retractable divider and cover.
• Fender grilles have been “blacked” out.
• Magnetic stone guards.
• Double Bee Garage seat angle kit/seat risers (not installed and included).

Known flaws:

• Left front amber turn signal lens is cracked.
• Paint chip on right quarter panel – I cleaned and used BMW OEM touch-up paint to fill it.
• A couple of paint chips in the front bumper (from front license plate holder/screws).
• Light bolster wear and creases on driver seat.
• Some light discoloration of interior door sill trim pieces.
• The rear bumper shows evidence of having been painted in the past.
• A couple of the rims show some discoloration – likely from using an acidic wheel cleaner and not rinsing in a timely manner.
• There are some clearcoat or paint drips on the bottom face of the bumper (between tailpipes) – you must get down and look up at the diffuser area to see them.
• Front bumper shows evidence of having been painted in the past.
• Airbag light is “on” due to seats having been removed by prior owner(s) and/or dealer to replace passenger side pre-tensioner (May 2024).
• The airbag module needs to be removed and sent in to have the “hard fault” rewriting with good data – I have the contact who performs this repair but have not sent it in since I’ve been driving and enjoying the car (plan is to send it in once car is put up for winter).

Other Information

• Starts, runs, and drives great and smooth.
• No oil or fluid leaks visible under the car.
• Power windows, sunroof, wipers, interior light switches, headlights, A/C, heat, gauges in center console work as they should.
• Rearview mirror is crystal clear and no leaking.
• No subframes cracks or any indication of weld spots coming apart.

I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country in its current condition.

If the other car sells, mine will be off the market.
