This 2002 BMW M Coupe is reported to be the only Imola Red 2 over black example ordered without a sunroof and powered by a 3.2-liter S54 inline-six. The seller acquired the car in July 2010 and has since added approximately 3k of the 22k indicated miles. Equipment includes a five-speed manual transmission, bright-finished 17″ Style 40 wheels, a limited-slip differential, a CD stereo, a Harman Kardon sound system, air conditioning, and cruise control. This M Coupe is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Georgia title in the seller’s name.
This example was ordered without a sunroof and is finished in Imola Red 2. Features include front fender vents, a rear window wiper, and quad exhaust outlets. Records indicate that the front bumper cover and hood were repainted in July 2022.
Bright-finished 17″ Style 40 wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires measuring 225/45 up front and 245/40 out back. The car is equipped with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and All-Season Traction (AST), and braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs.
The cabin features black Nappa leather covering the heated sport seats, door panel inserts, and center console. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, a CD stereo, and a Harman Kardon sound system. An aftermarket parking brake handle and boot are fitted.
The M-branded leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, a 170-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 22k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.2-liter S54B32 inline-six features double-VANOS variable valve timing and a Siemens MSS 54 engine management control system. Output was factory rated at 315 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The oil was most recently changed in July 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.
