Up for sale is my 2000 M Coupe. It is Oxford Green with Oregon Beige Interior (currently stripped). It is a sunroof delete car making it 1/11 built (1/9 in year 2000). I have owned the car since 2010 and purchased it with 83,000 miles on it. It came with a pile of records from the previous owner. It currently has 98,518 miles most of which are track miles. Over the 4 years of ownership, it has seen street duty during my first year with the car and a four month stint in 2012. The list of modifications to the car can all be reversed. I have every single piece, nut, and bolt that was removed from the interior. The car will need a re-spray if you would plan to restore it for street use. It needed a re-spray when I bought it but that was not high on my priority list. The headliner will need to be re-done due to sagging and the speakers will need to be restored due to rotting. Here is the list of modifications:
Seats - Cobra Imola Pro (2)
Floor Mounts - VAC aluminum (driver and passenger sides)
Harnesses - Schroth 5 pt
Roll Cage - custom 4 pt by Performance Chassis
Brakes - stock with stainless braided brake lines, PFC 08 pads
Engine - S54 oil filter housing, Randy Forbes distribution block
Engine - S54 oil cooler
Engine - S54 dual pickup oil pump and oil pan
Engine - Vanos rebuild (winter 2014)
Exhaust - Custom cat/resonator delete by Bimmer Performance Center (stock mufflers retained...stock mid-section replacement also purchased and included)
Subframe - Ireland subframe bushings and no signs of fatigue on subframe mounts
Maintenance - new FCABs, Giubo, center support bearing, recent front and rear wheel bearings, fluids
Suspension - TCK SA coilovers front, Bilstein with adjustable spring perches in rear
Suspension - Vorshlag camber plates
Suspension - adjustable front sway bar links
Steering - Sparco wheel with Momo adapter
Roadstars will need refinishing. I have a set of 18" BBS RK wheels/tires in M Coupe fitment that can be purchased in addition to the Coupe.
Please don't use this thread to debate pricing or track car vs. street cars. I know what I have in the car and follow the values very closely. Anyone who has done these modifications will also know what they are worth. This car is very well maintained and has never given me any problems other than when the cats went bad (hence the exhaust modification). You can buy this car as-is, sell the track bits, restore it for street use, and have yourself a beautiful ride. I'll do just that if no interest is generated.
I'll add some pictures this weekend.
Price is $19,000.
