Time to find a new home for my 1999 Arctic Silver BMW M Coupe. I purchased this car in January 2001 and have had it garaged in CA since that time. This has been an exceptionally fun ride, but the time has come to pass it to a new enthusiast. As many know, there where only about 2,180 M Coupes produced in Spartanburg SC for North America from July 1998 through May 2002. The car is a very well-balanced drive. It has the reliable S52 inline 6 engine that provides ample power and is easy to maintain. It is a 5speed manual with analog instruments, all working well. Priced at $27,500. (see https://www.mcoupebuyersguide.com/ for comps and extensive info on this unique vehicle.)
Some Upgrades I’ve done over the years:
Ground Control kit with Koni shocks and Ebach springs/sway bar at 40K (I will include original)
Whalen Shift Machine solid stainless steel shift knob (I will include original lit leather knob)
LeatherZ Mark I center consol and arm rests in grey (I will include original 2 cup consol)
Business CD with Bluetooth module (I will include original cassette and 6-disk multi changer)
Load bars to fit integrated mounting points on roof
BMW sunroof sunshield (new in box)
Aluminum under panel
Remote Entry fobs (2 and valet key)
Daytime Running Light module
Seat bushing have been replaced with Delrin bushings (no seat rock)
Window slides replaced, windows open and close smoothly
Few issues I’ve not addressed:
Has some cosmetic damage to front bumper cover
Small ding in hood, scratch on fender
Rear Hatch struts could use replacement (again!)
Missing a plastic cap on right door card and one Roundel (available on web if motivated)
