Seller Description

Rare 1999 BMW M Coupe with 173K miles. 2nd Owner since 2003. Only 2858 were produced for North America. Looks and runs great for a 25 year old car.
Over $15k spent in maintenance In the last three years. Most recent service - 7/24 and 8/25
Tires have a lot of life. Three Yokohamas and one brand new Michelin PS4
Suspension updated with H and R Springs and Bilstein Sport Shocks.
Registered until March 2025
Subframe has been inspected - No issues
Carfax - minor fender benders
I have the original window sticker

Check engine light is on, the code is P0446 - malfunction in the EVAP system. The mechanic has been unsuccessful making repairs. They believe the next step is to replace the fuel tank pressure sensor which is no small job. We've decided to sell it as is instead of repairing the vehicle.

I’m selling for a friend but I was the caretaker for many years. Let me know if you have any questions.

The long-time ownership is a big plus, and it's had a lot of recent maintenance. The obvious issues are the big tear in the driver seat bottom and the very saggy glovebox. The price still seems pretty good for a maintained M Coupe with a clean title though.
