The original BMW M Coupe is a shooting-brake styled high-performance automobile produced by BMW. Only two generations of the M Coupe have been manufactured, this one being the original E36/8 M Coupe. Sold for four short years from late 1998 to 2002, only 2180 M Coupes were sold in North America.

The 2000 M Coupe came with BMW s S52 3.2 liter inline six cylinder engine (similar engine as the North American E36 M3) with 240 HP and 236 ft-lbs of torque.

This particular M Coupe has an even rarer two-tone exterior/interior color combination: IMOLA Red exterior and NAPPA/IMOLA Red sport seats and interior colors with only 201 produced. As a result of their relative rarity, the M Coupes retain more of their value than any other BMW since the E30 M3.
