Up for sale is my 2000 BMW Z3 M Coupe. This original generation of M Coupes is appreciating in price. The ten most comparable S52 M coupes for sale in the USA averaged $23,222 in mid-April. I am listing this S52 M Coupe for just $20,000 to cover the shipping cost from Honolulu to anywhere in the continental United States. I flew to North Carolina to purchase this little beast in 2006, shipped it out to the islands, and have owned it for ten years of fun. I have always garaged it, and I only put on 25K miles in ten years. The car has performed flawlessly and is in mechanically great shape. I have complete records dating back to 2003. The previous owner did some desirable mods, including Shark Conforti chip, cold air intake, strut tower brace, exhaust, short shift kit, stainless steel brake lines, and Alpine stereo. I put on Bilstein shocks, Michelin Pilot Sports, and a new windshield. There are some rock chips on the bumper and rash on the Roadstar rims, but these are cosmetic issues easy to fix. There are no unsightly dings or dents, and the body panels are original and without any rust. The seats are in great shape with no tears in the leather. The car has had no accidents and the trunk welds are solid. There are no check engine lights. The AC blows cold. I just put in a new mass air meter and new master and slave cylinders and clutch pedal. Overall, this car is a blast to drive and the only reason I am selling is because I have bought a 997.1 TT manual. I'd like to keep the coupe but am running out of garage room. Compared to the Porsche, the M Coupe is a raw, visceral sports car experience. The naturally aspirated straight six M3 engine snarls through the quad pipes and pulls hard. This machine is sexy as hell. You'll love it. Check out Jalopnik's review to confirm what I'm talking about. Contact Tom
