This 1999 BMW M Coupe is one of 125 finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over black Nappa leather for the North American market for the model year, and it was purchased new by the seller and has since remained registered in New Jersey and New York. The car is powered by a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and it is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over black Nappa leather upholstery. Equipment includes 17″ Style 40 wheels, a sunroof, heated sport seats, a CD stereo, a Harman Kardon sound system, air conditioning, and cruise control. This M Coupe is offered with a spare set of wheels, manufacturer’s literature, a Carfax report, and a clean New York title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic (309) and features a sunroof, front fender vents, a rear window wiper, and quad exhaust outlets. A December 2004 entry on the Carfax report lists an accident that resulted in damage to the right rear corner. The front bumper corners are scuffed. The right door lock only operates with the keyfob, per the seller, who notes dings, dents, and scratches around the body. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.
The 17″ Style 40 wheels are mounted with a mixed set of BFGoodrich and Continental tires. The car is equipped with Automatic Stability Control, and braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs.
The cabin features black Nappa leather covering the heated sport seats, door panel inserts, and center console. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, an alarm system, a CD stereo, and a Harman Kardon sound system.
The M-branded leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 160-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 99k miles, all of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.2-liter S52B32 inline-six features VANOS variable valve timing and was factory-rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. The check engine light is illuminated, which the seller attributes to the secondary air injection system.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
A spare set of 17″ Style 40 wheels fitted with Dunlop tires is included in the sale.
The Carfax report lists the aforementioned December 2004 damage.
