Seller Description

This 1999 BMW M Coupe has 78k miles following registration history in California, and it was purchased by the seller in March 2005. It is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Imola Red and Black Nappa leather, and it is powered by a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes silver-finished 17″ Style 40 wheels, Bilstein shocks, a limited-slip differential, a sunroof, heated sport seats, air conditioning, cruise control, a Momo shift knob, an Alpine stereo, and an aftermarket sound system. This M Coupe is now offered at no reserve with service records, an air compressor, tools, a spare wheel, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

This M Coupe is one of 32 cars finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Imola Red and black Nappa leather for the North American market for the model year. Features include a sunroof, front fender vents, a rear window wiper, and quad exhaust outlets. Photos in the gallery detail finish imperfections.

Silver-finished 17″ Style 40 wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R tires, which were fitted in May 2019. Bilstein shocks were also installed at that time. The car is equipped with Automatic Stability Control, and braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs. A spare wheel is included in the sale.

The cabin features Imola Red and black Nappa leather covering the heated sport seats, door panel inserts, and center console. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, a Momo shift knob, an Alpine stereo, a Blaupunkt amplifier, and JL Audio and MB Quart speakers.

The M-branded leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 160-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 78k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.2-liter S52B32 inline-six features VANOS variable valve timing and was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. The fuel filter was replaced in February 2019, and the oil was changed in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller notes that the trunk welds/differential mounts have been addressed.

The Carfax report is free from accidents or other reported damage.

Not a good week to have a no reserve car listing. Sold to a high bid of just $27,500 or $28,875 with buyer fee. Great deal!

I love the color combo, and it's nice that it's had a very long-term owner. It's in great condition overall. Modifications I see are the shift knob, radio, and newer Bilstein suspension. Bidding up to $2,099.00 so far with no reserve.
