Seller Description

The M Coupe, manufactured from 1998 until 2002, was developed under the leadership of engineer Burkhard Goschel with the intention of adding increased torsional and structural rigidity to the Z3 roadster's chassis. This is a 1999 model with a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six from the U.S. spec E36 M3 makes 240 hp. This is an all original example (aside from the radio). Five speed, cold AC and new Pirelli PZero Nero GTs. I have owned the car since June 2017.

Imperfections:
Previous owner acknowledged a minor accident as reported by Carfax. (I ran the Carfax before purchasing the vehicle, as should you.) As told to me, driver ran off the road, the police responded and the event while minor had to be reported. I am always skeptical of stories, but ultimately the car is in great shape and I have been happy with the purchase. I suggest that you inspect the vehicle , order a Carfax, etc to feel comfortable with the purchase.
Passenger side scratch above front wheel as detailed by the images.
The door panel wrap just in front of the quarter windows is slightly disfigured as detailed by the images.
Windows operate slowly. This is common, I just haven’t had time to replace the sliders and grease appropriately.
Very small cracks near AC push button.
Grill honeycomb missing a few squares.
Glove box sag. Again, common but I haven’t had time to address.

Since I have owned the vehicle.
Replaced seat bushing to eliminate rocking.
Added extension bolts to change the seat angle. I’m 6’3” and these really helpful for taller drivers.
New floor mats.
New Pirelli PZero Nero GTs (less than 500 miles since purchase)
Clay bar and ceramic coat.
I have not performed the subframe reinforcement. The car was inspected by Zakspeed and no evidence of stress cracks exist.

Summary
In 2001 my business unit manager took several of us to the BMW factory in SC. In the lobby on display was absolutely stunning example of the Z3 M Coupe. Since that moment, I have wanted to own one. I finally purchased the car in June of 2017 and drove the vehicle home to Louisville from Boston. This car has been an absolute blast to own and drive. Its quick, handles great and puts a smile on my face every outing. I don’t need to get rid of it, but its time to let someone else enjoy it. Keep the low ball offers, this is for a fellow enthusiast that will appreciate the near perfect connection between driver, car and road. $26k firm.

As mentioned in the listing, we last saw this coupe listed back in 2017. It looks much the same and has only 5k new miles. I wouldn't worry too much about the minor accident at this mileage. It needs some aesthetic odds and ends, and it has a very large subwoofer box in the back. The price seems alright to me.
