Looking for a clean, well maintained M Coupe for under 20 grand? Look no further!
You're looking at a1999 black on black with 132,xxx miles. I'd rate the interior about an 8 and the exterior about a 7.
Interior: Seats are in excellent condition with no rips and minimal wrinkling and moderate to slight wear on only the drivers bolster, a few minor interior blemishes, ZHP shift knob (white glow), after market pioneer stereo deck, no error lights.
Exterior: Mirrors and roof could probably use a respray...front of roof is a bit faded, minor pitting on back of roof, minor curb rash on passenger wheels, only a few minor dings, vehicle has always been garaged, slightly lowered on H&R springs, shocks and Nitto all season tires easily more than 50% life...but you want to put some Summer tires on anyway and GO!
Recent Maintenance; Almost all the expensive rubber bits have been replaced within the last 3K miles: valve cover gasket, rear subframe bushings, differential bushings, also new spark plugs, radiator replaced 10K miles ago, fluids flushed 20K miles ago, rear sway bar links reinforced, new locking gas cap gasket so you can keep the now discontinued OEM gas cap, brand new bosch battery and most importantly, a clean subframe, as diagnosed by Gary Akopyan! He is LA's most respected M Coupe mechanic and knows the car inside and out. He would be happy to give you a full inspection, or you're welcome to have your own done.
The Coupe has been in his care for the last 2 years. All his work is documented as well as extensive records from previous owners...I believe I am the fifth. The only thing that should be replaced within the next 10K miles are the engine mounts. Oil changed in the last last month, never had a smog problem. Will have a smog certificate done for you and the car was literally JUST registered for another year in CA!
Included: BMW OEM car cover, excellent cleaning products, Rogue motorsports replacement rear shock mounts (if the time comes, you will have superior, enthusiast approved replacements!), airbag light reset tool (only had to use it once and the light never came back on).
Reason for selling; I have three cars and I am buying a house soon. I no longer have the room or the time to enjoy this little beast. It deserves a loving home and to be enjoyed thoroughly on mountain roads!
Price is pretty firm...car is available to be seen during middays and weekday evenings.
