The M-Roadster was introduced in 1997 as the high performance version of the BMW Z3. The most significant cosmetic difference between the M-Roadster, including the M-Coupe, is the substantially flared rear quarter-panels ("fender flares") and the correspondingly offset rear wheels. Additional differences compared to the standard Z3 models included front and rear bumpers, gills, quad exhaust, trunk and mirrors.

One of my favorite coupes has re-emerged after 10.5 years. I've known several of the previous owners. Alpine white is rare to begin with but it's also a sunroof-delete with evergreen interior making it a 1 of 1 (1 of 3 total in the color combo). It's been driven which is a good thing with 22k new miles (which is only really 2k miles a year). I think the price seems fair.
