I recently bought this one on a whim as I really wanted another coupe that wasn't silver, but I'm not sure I want to invest the time to make it as 'perfect' as I'd want it for myself. You won't find another coupe at this price, with under 100k miles, with a clean title anywhere else. Period.

Exterior:

The car has all original body panels with VIN numbers except the hood, which was replaced at some point. No areas where you can tell that bodywork was done, paint match is good. The downside is that there are three dents I wanted to note. The main one on the hood, one on the left fender, and a 'ding' on the left rear quarter panel. Other than that- it's got rock chips that were touched up, and two or three clearcoat scratches that could be buffed out. The two side markers on the bumper are also cracked at the edges. I admit it's not perfect, but it's far from an eyesore.

Roadstars up front are in good shape, the rears have curb rash. 225/45 Pirelli tires up front and 245/40 Nexen tires in the back. The Hamman fog lights in the bumper are quite special- as they're pretty rare and go for a few hundred dollars on their own.

Interior:

Solid interior that cleans up quite well. Dash is free of any marks or other imperfections. Perfect center console, all gauges are operational and no burnt out bulbs. Seats don't rock (like many MZ3 cars) and the glovebox does not sag either. Wear on the driver's seat as pictured and a solid passenger's seat. Harmon Kardon stereo system in tact and unmodified with sub/amp in the rear.

Mechanical:

No glaring issues mechanically with the car, but some things that could be addressed. The shocks seem to be at the end of their life, and the car's a bit bouncy over bumps. I am willing to replace the entire suspension with a spare Bilstein Sport setup with Dinan front and TCK rear springs, as well as Dinan camber plates for an additional $750. A shop would charge you several hundred bucks to do the work alone which I'm including.

Car has no leaks anywhere, and I purposefully didn't wash the engine bay so anyone can see that everything is dry. The final thing to mention is that the rear differential seems a bit loud. It doesn't affect driving or feel any different (I have an M coupe with 67k) other than the fact that you hear it sort of 'whirr'. The clutch is also fine and there is no sign of any gears slipping. Feels identical to my car with 30k less miles.

According to the previous owner, the radiator, belts and water pump were done- but I'm not able to verify it. I do have the contact information where the car was serviced several times. The subframe also checks out, with the rear differential mounts well in place and no visible cracking/tearing/creaking.

Price:

All around a solid driver, that needs a few little things- but that should be expected with a car priced considerably less than most others.
