3/28/12 Update - Price apparently raised to $17,500 from $16,500
3/6/12 Update - Another firsthand report:
Thanks For the info on ES Motorsports, I stopped in there on Wednesday last week on my way to FLA. I wanted to see the yellow M Coupe they have, with the info Jon Martin had sent me I checked it out as best I could. In addition to the over sprayed paint there was a scuff on the hood, a four inch gouge in the rear bumper cover (driver side) just behind the mud flap which was not a match for the other side. The brake pads were about 1/3 worn but the rotors needed turned. The clutch needed to be pressed into the carpet to disengage enough to shift into gear. Driving the car felt like a lot of work as the steering was very stiff and it took alot of focus and effort to change gears smoothly. This was only the second M coupe that I have driven.

2/5/12 Update - A firsthand update:
I test drove the Dakar Yellow coupe at ES Motorsports a few weeks ago. It drove well, but it did have an accident history that they admitted to. The Autocheck indicated an accident in CA. You could see some overspray on the drivers side. It also had some stress cracking on the from bumper/spoiler area. I am not sure if that is common or not. Overall, it seemed like it was OK, but I would definitely want a PPI on the car.
9/28/11 Update - And back to $16,500...
9/28/11 Update - Price apparently raised back to $20,000 from $16,500
9/23/11 Update - Big price drop to $16,500 from $20,000 making this a pretty good deal.
I wondered where this coupe ended up. The mid-hatch spoiler is actually OEM rather than AC Schnitzer. There are lots of photos of it in the previous listing. The price is pretty good for the color rarity and upgrades.
